I hope that you all have had a great Easter and are enjoying the beautiful weather. I also hope that the boys have not eaten too many Easter eggs and are being really good (I am sure that they are).
Here we are at the start of term 3 and we are still very unsure when we will all meet again! The Minister for Health, Simon Harris said today that he would like to run Primary School for a day a week in June. He will, of course, have to consult with his health experts before he does this and they may well over-
One thing you can be sure of is that as soon as we are allowed and are sure that it is safe to do so, we will open and be very happy to do so. It would be brilliant to be back to normal again!
Meanwhile on Monday 20 th the codes for Google Classroom go out and so I will repeat the instructions that enable you to use this service. It is simple to use and is completely voluntary.
(a) set up a new gmail.com email address for exclusive use with Google classroom or use your own if you prefer.
(b) go to classroom.google.com.
(c) at the top click Join Class.
(d) put in the code sent by text to you on Monday 20 th. Use the code to enter your child to the class. If you lose the code you can just check the original text that I will send you on the 20 th -
….....and hey presto lovely work will appear as if by magic!
Again I would remind you that this is offered as a support to you. Nobody expects you to recreate the school day. The idea is to keep the boys sharp and ready to catch up as soon as these extraordinary times allow. We will see them again hopefully very soon and then things will go back to normal.
