We hope that you are as excited about this as we are. Educating boys and girls together brings out the best in both of them. My fondest memories as a teacher are of my days teaching mixed classes in Spain. The energy of the boys combined with the dedication of the girls made for excellent teaching and learning. Combine this with the lovely, happy working atmosphere and the excellent teaching staff in the school and I can safely say that exciting days are ahead in St Vincent’s Primary!
Meanwhile September must seem a very long way away for you all now in lockdown but someday, and I hope it's someday very soon, it will gradually end and the world will return to normal. I hope that the boys are working away at Google classroom and learning lots. They will all look so clever I hope that I will be able to recognise them when I see them in yard on our next school day!
