From 20th April St. Vincent's Primary will be using Google Classrooms to communicate with Parents and Students regarding School Work.
Google Classroom is a free service for schools and anyone with a personal Google account. Classroom makes it easy for learners and teachers to connect with one another – inside and outside of schools. Classroom saves time and paper, and makes it easy to create classes, distribute assignments, communicate and stay organised.
Join a class as a student
These instructions are for parents or guardians to set up their child.
To use Google Classroom, you need to sign in on your computer or mobile device and then join your class. You will then get work from your teacher on a regular basis.
When you join a class on one device, you're enrolled in that class on all devices.

You must be signed in to Google Classroom before you can join a class.
You need a valid gmail.com email address to set up Google Classroom. We would advise parents to make a new gmail.com address for exclusive use for Google Classroom.
1. Go to classroom.google.com
2. At the top, click Add Join class.
3. Enter the class code —This class code will be texted to parents on 20th April. Use this code to add your child/guardian to the class.
A class code consists of 6 or 7 letters or numbers.
Forgot or lost the class code? Code won't work?
If you deleted, lost, or forgot the class code before joining a class, email the school at email@example.com and we will resend the code to you.
Note: You only use the class code once to join the class. You are then enrolled in the class, and you don't need to re-
