St. Vincent’s Primary School Uniform Policy

All children in St. Vincent’s Primary School are required to wear our official school uniform which is a tracksuit and polo shirt (as listed below) daily.

SCHOOL UNIFORM – TRACKSUIT
The school tracksuit consists of:

  • A plain unbranded navy tracksuit with school crest.
  • Navy tracksuit bottoms and a navy tracksuit top with school crest (Generic tracksuit can be purchased in any store and a school crest can be applied.)
  • A plain white (collared) polo-shirt is to be worn underneath.

Official School Uniform tracksuits may be purchased in Lynch’s of Marino, 130 Philipsburgh Avenue, Marino, Dublin 3. However, the Board of Management of the School strive to make uniforms as economically viable for parents as possible. As such the Board are happy to allow a generic alternative be used and a school badge applied.

Due to the potential negative impact on pupil relations all sports jerseys and branded sportswear are not permitted. We will allow the wearing of these items on occasion, through Jersey Days and Non-uniform days etc. throughout the school year.

The school Crest is available for sale from the office at a cost €3 should you wish to purchase you own tracksuit (plain navy) and stitch the crest on.

All jewellery is discouraged from being worn in school for health and safety reasons. If a child is wearing earrings they must be studs only. Rings, necklaces and metal bracelets are not allowed. Other piercings are not allowed.

This plan was ratified by the Board of Management at a meeting on_____________
