We are looking for new members for the Parents’ Association
The Parents’ Association would love to see some new members join this year. Joining the Association is a great way of finding out what is going on in the school, getting to know other parents and contributing in a positive way to the school life of your son(s). Meetings take place once a month during the school terms, start at 8.00 pm and last for approximately 1.5 hours. Come along, you will be most welcome.

What is the Parents’ Association?
The role of the Parents’ Association at St. Vincent’s primary school is to promote the interests of students in the school, in co-operation with the Board of Management, the Principal, and the teachers, and to build an effective co-operation between the home and the school.
This involves adopting a programme of activities, including fundraising activities, in consultation with the Principal, which promotes the positive involvement of parents in the operation of the school.

Activities are undertaken by the Parents Association in the recent past
The Parents Association have organised the following fundraising activities in the past number of years:
Sale of Christmas cards designed by the boys in the school. Packing at the local supermarket with help from boys from senior classes. Race night. Calendar featuring different class photos. Quiz night. Golf classic.
